Spring Parish/School Gathering on May 1st at HNMS.
On SUNDAY, MAY 1st our School & Church will be hosting a Mass & Social in celebration of the beginning of Catholic Education Week in the Holy Name of Mary School Gym at 10:00am. We hope you will be able to attend as we celebrate together our Catholic faith in worship and fellowship. The social will be held following mass. Our Social Committee would greatly appreciate donations of sandwiches & squares. A signup sheet is available at the back of the church for food donations. Please note that there will be NO MASSES in the church on that day however the Sat. 4:30pm mass remains unchanged.

Prayers for Palliative Care, Wed May 4th
CWL Prayers for Palliative Care will be held at Holy Name of Mary Church on Wednesday, May 4th. This is part of National Hospice Palliative Care Week. Greater access to palliative care has become an urgent priority in the face of the impending legislation for euthanasia/assisted suicide.
•      3:00 p.m. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
•      3:15 p.m. Divine Mercy Chaplet
•      4:00 p.m. The Rosary
•      5:00 p.m. Prayers for Caregivers
•      5:30 p.m. Private prayer
•      5:50 p.m. Benediction
•      6:00 p.m. Mass
Everyone is encouraged to come and take part.

The Syrian Refugee Committee of Mississippi Mills (SRCMM) currently has many families from across our community participating in Syrian refugee sponsorship and settlement activities.
