After many months of hard work the STRATEGIC PLANNING FUTURES COMMITTEE has delivered The Strategic Plan for Holy Name of Mary Parish, and the Plan has been ratified by Pastoral Council. This Strategic Plan represents a challenge to all members of the Holy Name of Mary Parish community. While the Strategic Plan development was guided by the expressed wishes of the Parish and its Ministry leaders, it is still possible that not all the recommendations and plans for action will be embraced by all members of the Parish. Please read the document and consider your support of this vital way forward.

Archbishop appoints Fr. Benedict Iheagwara as Parochial Administrator at Holy Name of Mary Parish, Almonte.
As noted in this week's Bulletin, parishioners will be warmly welcoming Fr. Benedict to Holy Name of Mary Parish effective August 1, 2015. For his part, Fr. Lindsay will be moving to take on the role of Pastor at St. John The Apostle in Nepean. Call for support of a Community Gardening Project
Imagine the wonder of a collaborative project that helps grow fresh food in community plots and uses the harvest to feed members of the community, families in need or offer contributions to the Food Bank! Almonte congregations like Holy Name of Mary Parish are being asked to indicate their interest in participating. The members of the Almonte Presbyterian Church have generously offered to use the land at the back of their church at 111 Church Street to install garden boxes for vegetables of all sorts. Community members are being invited to participate. Please see the attached letter from Rev. Barry Carr for more details. If interested please contact the parish office so that we can communicate the level of support from our Parish.
